Every skill for a humanoid robot — navigation, assistance, hospitality — must clear the EU AI Act, GDPR and cybersecurity barriers before it can be sold into European homes and businesses. Building that infrastructure in-house is slow, expensive and outside the developer’s core competence.

Third-party skills are an attack surface. Buyers fear surveillance, backdoors and data exfiltration — fears that kill sales unless the skill is provably hardened.
